When MLT?s vision is realized, minorities will be fully represented among corporate CEOs; heads of major non-profit organizations; innovative entrepreneurs; leaders of top grant-making foundations; and high net-worth individuals and committed philanthropists. This new generation of leaders will broaden the talent pool and diversity of ideas in corporate America, as well as bring new insight into persistent social challenges and create and support sustainable solutions for struggling communities. MLT?s unique talent development system goes beyond the traditional scholarship and internship approach to provide young people with the key ingredients, not taught in even the best classrooms, that are critical for career success: hard and soft skills, a preparatory roadmap, door-opening relationships, mentoring at critical junctures and a high performing peer community. MLT identifies high-potential young people and accelerates their trajectory during critical career transition points: college to early career, early career to business school and business school to post-MBA career. Programming is delivered via a combination of one-to-one coaching from a full-time MLT coach and in-person workshops conducted in partnership with MLT?s partner corporations, non-profits and business schools.
